Most of us are fortunate not to have experienced domestic violence in our own lives and thus may be unaware of it.  But, domestic violence affects every community and crosses all demographic boundaries. 

Without effective resources to deal with it, domestic violence can rip the social fabric of the community in addition to causing irreparable harm to its victims.  The services Peace House provides are designed to address the causes and effects of domestic violence in the communities we serve.

Education programs ensure the community at large is aware of the issue of domestic violence and the resources that are available to help those whose lives are impacted by it.

Shelter and support programs protect victims and their children, and give them reason to hope for a better future.
